Giving It Away For Free
Posted on 31 May 2012
Living Arrangements is the book of the week over at Fiction Writers Review. That means three readers will win free copies of the book. All you have to do to be eligible is follow FWR at @fictionwriters on Twitter.
And in the spirit of short story collection giveaways — and Short Story Month itself, which is almost over, I really really really encourage you to enter to win a free copy of Anthony Doerr’s collection Memory Wall. All you have to do is leave a blog comment here by the end of May 31. I’ll even make it midnight Pacific time.
This isn’t about getting more comments on my blog, it’s about what a shame it is that the Memory Wall giveaway currently only has three entries. I encourage you to share the giveaway info on your blog or Twitter feed, if that’s your thing. And if not, that’s fine — the three people who did enter so far will have a better chance at winning. Which is a win-win for all of us, because I’m currently cleaning out my bookshelves and have Doerr’s book sitting at the ready. It’s just dying to get into a padded envelope and make its journey to one lucky reader.

Book of the week? That’s great!
Woo-hoo! Another feather in your cap, Laura. Congrats on the book of the week.
Congrats Laura! I have some more good news for you: my review of Living Arrangements went live today: http://www.pankmagazine.com/pankblog/reviews/living-arrangements-by-laura-maylene-walter-a-review-by-dawn-west/
Thank you so much for the lovely review. I’m thrilled you enjoyed my book (and also that it was reviewed by someone in Ohio who also loves falafel!). I feel like it’s Living Arrangements Week!
You’re welcome, Laura! It was my pleasure.
