Ananda Lima, author of Craft Stories I Wrote for the Devil, will be in conversation with Laura Maylene Walter at Mac’s Back’s on Thursday, June 27th at 7pm.

At a Halloween party in 1999, a writer slept with the devil. She sees him again and again throughout her life and she writes stories for him about things that are both impossible and true.

Craft: Stories I Wrote for the Devil is forthcoming from Tor on June 18, 2024. This linked story collection revolves around the absurdity of our times, art, and writing, as well as a complex view of the immigrant experience.
